A glorious free-kick by Aleksandr Kolarov is sufficient to decide the game. Costa Rica had their prospects in the first half, but Serbia scored a goal in the second half and that was enough to gain victory against Costa Rica.
Both teams created opportunities at the Samara Arena but neither team could capitalize in the 1st half, therefore first half was finished goalless.
Kolarov from Serbia just took ten minutes of the second half to earn the lead for his country.
Kolarov Aleksandr netted a goal in the 56th minute, bending a 25-yard free-kick just like Cristiano Ronaldo did two days ago, over the barrier and into the top left-hand corner.
Even though ball possession was with Costa Rica for most of the times but they went were unsuccessful in equalising the game.
A minor fight between Nemanja Matic & assistant coach Luis Marin, but the officials quickly succeeded to calm the two sides.
